Mark’s background is in technology-based product development, project management and technical organizational leadership in Aerospace/Defense, Electronics, Industrial machinery and Automotive. He has demonstrated success in leading product development teams in sizes ranging from 2 to 400. All of these have resulted in increased sales from new products, and several were responsible for whole-company portfolio upgrades and technology turnarounds. He has an ability to set a vision and organize efforts to achieve goals toward that vision using team leadership skills. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois, a Master of Science degree in Engineering earned at the University of Southern California as a Howard Hughes Masters Fellow, and completed the residence program in Strategic Market Positioning of Products from the Insead School of Business in Fontainebleau France. He is a Raytheon Certified Program and Capture Manager, and is Six-Sigma certified. Since joining Best Finishing in 2014, he has led Strategic Planning and Execution efforts, led all polishing Automation efforts, developed new customers, performed HR functions and contributed to the satisfaction of key customers.
